The Quilted Moose, Gretna, Nebraska

Located in Gretna, Nebraska is the Quilted Moose, one of the nicest quilting shops in the western Omaha area. The store was featured in the Sept. 2007 special issue of American Patchwork's Quilt Sampler Top Ten magazine with owner Debbir Roberts' quilt featured on the cover. The Moose also had quilt patterns from their own line shown in Quiltmaker and McCalls magazines.

As soon as you open the door to the Quilted Moose you step into a warm and inviting atmosphere with a friendly and helpful staff. The store is stuffed full of more than 3000 colorful bolts of fabric and the walls are covered with many quilt models to tempt you. The Moose has a large selection of flannels and plaids, lots of brightly colored children's fabrics, a delicious assortment of batik prints as well as dozens of fabrics in every color hue. Racks of books and quilter's tools are available as well as prepared kits for table runners, tea towels, wall hangings and quilts. They have a newsletter, classes are taught and there is an on-going block of the month club.
